WELCOME!
We would like to welcome you to the valley and to the Marble
Community Church. As the only church in our small town, it holds a unique
place
in our hearts and the spirit of the valley. Worship begins as you view
God's spectacular creation.
What is a community church?
- We are an "independent"
interdenominational Christian church.
- Our congregation members have been
part of Catholic, Baptist, Presbyterian, Episcopalian, and Jewish
traditions.
- We are a Missional church where the
Body of Christ IS the church.
- The Lord's table is open to all.
The "experience"
- The presence of God - His love - His
grace.
- A glorious church with stained glass
windows depicting our valley.
- A beautiful drive that will take
your breath away... Chair Mountain, White House Mountain,
waterfalls, lakes.
- People who love the Lord and who love
to sing!
- God's healing touch through the power of prayer.

History:
The church is on the National Historic Register. The church building
dates back to 1885. It was moved from Aspen to Marble in 1908.
Through boom times, and difficult economic and war times,
the faithfulness of God and his servants have remained strong
to keep the good news moving forward.
The Marble Community Church under the Pastorship
of Dr. Lafe Murray seeks to touch lives with the gift of salvation
through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The church reaches
out to those in need through prayer partners and community assistance
as well as outreach programs.
Through the leadership of our Pastor, and in combination
with an enthusiastic and energetic congregation, the church is a dynamic growing
organization where the Holy Spirit has moved in a special way enabling us to
add a new Fellowship Hall and renovate the historic current church.
Parsonage Built!
Our parsonage was built and completed
at 150 W. Main Street, Marble.
We look forward to meeting you!
