Christmas Gospel Concert

Linda's Christmas Gospel Concert, held at the Aspen Community Church on December 16, was more than she hoped for.  Of all the activities going on that evening in Aspen, a crowd of approximately 150 people showed up to give their support and purchase her CD "Know My Heart."  All proceeds from Linda's CD will be given to LIFE Outreach International; a Christian organization that has set up a food processing center as well as having the ability to drill water wells.  Linda's ministry began in Aspen in the early 90's…...it was a nostalgic and blessed evening.   If you would like a copy of her CD, please call her at 927-9771.  The price is $15.00.  Checks should be made out to LIFE

New Deacons
Installed

Charlie Ringer and Chris Sidelinger were installed as deacons for the Marble Community Church in November 2001.

Linda is pleased to have them on board to help her with hospital visitations, counseling and church needs.  They will also serve as her spiritual advisors. 

In the event an ordained minister cannot fill in for Linda, they will lead worship. 

They'll be a blessing as the church continues to grow and prosper.

Board News

Current Board Members are: Katie Updike, Shirley Thomson, Eli Beeding, Kay Moravek, Bob Boylan, and Larry Hall.

Our church organ, which was built in the late 1800's is getting a overhaul!  Jim Bratton,  will be doing the
repairs. Thanks to Wayne Brown and Karen
Tafejian or all their work in bringing this together.

The Building Committee has been meeting over the last six months in preparation for presentation of plans in January to the board.
